- Some rooms never cool downUneven cooling can point to an undersized system or ductwork that needs attention.
- Energy bills keep climbingA system that is losing efficiency works harder for the same comfort.
- It runs constantly in mild weatherVery short or endless cycles often mean the unit no longer matches the home.

FAQ
Questions about AC installation
Can’t find your question? Call the office and talk to someone who knows heating and cooling.
How long does a central air conditioner last?
With regular maintenance, many central air systems last 12 to 15 years. Heavy use, coastal air and skipped tune-ups can shorten that.
What size AC does my home need?
It depends on more than floor area: insulation, windows, layout and sun exposure all matter. We calculate it during the home assessment.
Should I replace my furnace at the same time?
Not always. If your furnace is fairly new and working well, we’ll say so. If both are near the end of their life, matching them can improve efficiency.
Can I spread the cost of a new system?
Yes. Monthly payment options are available through a lending partner, subject to approval. See the financing page for how it works.
