FAQ
Questions about HVAC maintenance
Can’t find your question? Call the office and talk to someone who knows heating and cooling.
How often should HVAC be serviced?
Twice a year is ideal: cooling in spring and heating in autumn. A heat pump, which works year-round, benefits most.
What’s in the Northvale Care Plan?
Two scheduled tune-ups a year, priority booking, seasonal reminders and a written report after every visit. Ask us for current plan pricing.
Will maintenance affect my warranty?
Usually the opposite: many manufacturers require regular professional maintenance to keep a warranty valid.
Can I change my own filter?
Yes, and you should, every one to three months depending on the filter and your home. We’ll show you how and which size to buy.
